Our History

Landscape Techniques has over thirty years of experience in the design and construction of beautiful, functional commercial and private landscapes in the Tri-State Area. During our long history as one of the premiere landscape and custom pool builder companies in the state, we've created beautiful and functional spaces for hundreds of private homes and estates as well as high-profile businesses and public areas such as Liberty Science Center and Liberty State Park, the Wall of Honor at Ellis Island, the AT&T Conference Center in Bernardsville, the Long Branch Beach walk redevelopment, and public park projects in Hoboken, Weehawken, West New York, Roosevelt Island, among many other local communities. Most recently we have done extensive work in Manhattan including the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, Times Square, 34th Street district and Columbus Avenue Streetscape Phase I.

Since the 1980s, we've secured contracts with many of the top general contractors and municipalities in Bergen, Hudson, and Essex counties. During the 1990s, we shifted focus to concentrate on the high-end residential construction industry, creating large-scale, impactful landscapes and aquatecture for some of the most beautiful homes and estates in the area. In 2002, we attended the Genesis 2 Design program - an elite watershape design school run by some of the nation's most talented pool builders. Since that time, our company Aquatecture Pool and Spas has built two to four custom watershapes and pools per year.

Each of our principle staff members, from a very young age, felt the passion and inspiration to help make the world a greener place with their creations. We want to provide environments that bring smiles, soothe souls, ease stress, and brighten the day of all who spend time within them.

Our Philosophy

Our design philosophy is to provide our clients with a complete, well-conceived design that is both structurally uncompromised and visually stunning. This goal is only met through extensive preliminary design study that explores your family's hopes and desires.

Our Mission

Each project we take on is treated as a personal challenge to provide you and your family with the most complete, well conceived, and executed solution to your particular landscape and waterscape needs. We look forward to building personal relationships with each new client that develops into lifelong friendships. Our success depends on our ability to listen and interpret your needs and desires. At Landscape Techniques, we take the products of your imagination and build them into realities that will be enjoyed by family and friends for generations to come.
